Choose how much you want to take on

Some people like packing their own things. Others get as far as the kitchen and reconsider. We can pack selected rooms or the whole home, usually in the same visit as the move. Larger jobs can be planned over two days. Our moving tips cover the preparation you are handling yourself.

If your lease dates don’t line up, we can arrange storage between pickup and delivery. Mention that early, even if you do not yet know the return date. We can talk through the available arrangement while the rest of your plans take shape.

If the date is close, ask about last-minute moving help. Our team will check availability before confirming a booking.

How much does a local move in NYC cost?

We price your move from the belongings, access, addresses and services involved. You receive a written, guaranteed flat price for that work; taking longer does not increase it. If you add items or change the move, we review the quote with you before the date. Read more about NYC moving costs.

Can you deal with my building management?

Yes. Send us the management contact or written moving requirements and we will coordinate directly with the building, including the certificate of insurance. Check with management about permitted moving hours and elevator access so those fit the date you request.

Can you move me within the same building?

Yes. Tell us the two apartments or floors and what is moving between them. We can assess an internal move as well as one that needs transport across the city.

Do I need an exact box count before getting in touch?

No. Give us your best estimate and flag anything still undecided. A free survey by video or in person helps us review the contents before finalizing the quote.

How soon will you reply to my inquiry?

We respond to quotes and messages within one business day. Your moving date is confirmed during booking, so let us know if it is approaching quickly.
