For when the favor is getting a bit too big
A few boxes are one thing. Add a mattress, a desk and the stairs, and asking a friend with a car starts to feel optimistic. Keepsake moves rooms, studios and short loads across New York, including individual pieces of furniture.
If only your belongings are leaving a shared apartment, point out what stays. We can review a short item list or photographs and ask about anything that needs a closer look. You do not need to describe your roommates’ furniture to get your own things moved.

You can add packing for the contents you would rather hand over, and we can arrange storage if there is a gap before the new address is ready. Neither needs to turn your inquiry into a full-home move.
If a building asks for a certificate of insurance, send its management contact or written requirements. We handle the coordination. A short load still has to work with the building’s moving rules.

Small moving FAQs
Can I book movers for just a few boxes?
Yes. Send the box count, any furniture, both addresses and your preferred date. We can quote a short load as well as a room or studio.
How much does a small move cost in NYC?
The load, route and access determine the work, even when there are only a few items. We send a guaranteed flat quote for your particular move. If you add belongings or a stop later, we review the change with you before moving day.
Can you pack the things I have not finished?
Yes. Tell us what still needs packing so we can include that work. Packing usually happens in the same visit as the move.
What if one item is unusually heavy or delicate?
Name it when you inquire. We move pianos, artwork, antiques and awkward pieces, but each needs to be assessed for its condition, size and access. See specialty moving for the details to send.
Can my things go into storage first?
We can arrange storage for a smaller load. Give us the expected dates and we will confirm the available arrangement, including pickup and return. You can also ask about moving into a unit you have rented yourself.
