Commercial movers in NYC for your next workspace

Moving the business becomes a project of its own, usually for someone who already has a job. We help you plan the physical move, from the furniture and files to the date the old space has to be clear.

Step 1 of 4: Move

Step 1: Move

First, the move itself

Start with the pickup and destination.

Street address is best, but a neighborhood works.

Even just the borough is fine if you're not sure yet.

Give the move a place in the working schedule

The lease end, the new space opening and the date people need their desks may be three different deadlines. Tell us which ones are fixed. We review the inventory and access alongside that schedule, then confirm what is workable before booking.

Kieran’s 25 years in moving and transportation logistics include major commercial moves as well as homes. A free video or in-person survey lets us look at your workspace and talk through the parts an inventory sheet may miss. Read about his experience.

Help people find what they need after the move

An office full of identical boxes is a poor start to the working day. A room plan and labels for teams or departments help direct the contents at the new address. Decide who can answer placement questions and who will be available at each building.

We wrap and pad furniture and can include packing help for the agreed contents. For computers, servers or other specialist equipment, tell us exactly what is involved. Keep the technical shutdown and setup plan explicit so the moving work fits around it.

For a temporary venue, see event moving. If you are furnishing a property for a listing, our staging furniture moves cover installation and later collection.

Commercial moving FAQs

Can you move our office outside working hours?

Send the required dates and permitted moving hours. We will check the job against availability and building access before confirming a booking.

Will you deal directly with building management?

Yes. Send the management contacts or written requirements for the buildings involved. We coordinate with them directly and handle the certificates of insurance for the move.

Do you move IT and server equipment?

Describe the equipment and any disconnection or installation work you need. We will assess the specific request and confirm what can be included in the move.

Can you arrange storage during a fit-out?

Yes. If the new workspace is not ready, we can arrange storage. Share the expected gap and the contents involved so we can explain the available pickup and return arrangement.

How do you price a business move?

The contents, route, access and additional services determine the quote. We provide a guaranteed flat price for the agreed work. If your scope or schedule changes, send the revised details so we can review the quote before the move.

Can a colleague manage the move on our behalf?

Identify the contact who can approve the inventory, schedule and placement decisions. Include who will be present at each address so questions reach the right person.
