These terms govern your use of keepsakemoving.com, the website of Keepsake Moving & Storage. By using the site, you agree to them. They are written in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.

Who we are

Keepsake Moving & Storage is a New York City moving company based at 39-16 47th Street, Sunnyside, NY 11104. You can reach us at kieran@keepsakemoving.com or (212) 203-3171.

Licensing

We operate under USDOT 4574202, MC 1823740, and NYSDOT 43527. Our MC number is our federal authority for interstate moves; our NYSDOT number covers moves within New York State. You can verify all three, with links to the official registries, on our licenses page.

Quotes and pricing

Quotes from Keepsake are flat and guaranteed. The price we give you is for the move as you described it to us. It does not go up because the day runs long, the elevator is slow, or traffic is bad.

A quote is built from what you tell us: the addresses, the date, the size of the move, and what is coming with you. If that picture changes before moving day, maybe more furniture, an extra stop, or a different apartment, tell us, and we will agree a fresh price with you before the move. Re-pricing always happens before the truck arrives, never on the day.

When you request a quote through the site, please give us accurate information. A quote based on an incomplete picture protects nobody, including you.

Cancellations and deposits

Plans change, especially in New York. If you need to cancel or reschedule a move, contact us as early as you can at kieran@keepsakemoving.com or (212) 203-3171.

With at least 48 hours' notice, you can reschedule or cancel at no charge. Inside 48 hours, call us and we will work it out together.

There is no deposit to receive a quote, and a quote does not commit you to anything. If a deposit is needed to hold your date, we tell you when you book, before you pay anything.

Damage and claims

If something goes wrong during your move, contact us right away at kieran@keepsakemoving.com or (212) 203-3171 so we can look into it with you.

Follow up with a written claim by email, with photos if you have them. We acknowledge every claim within one business day and tell you exactly what happens next.

Interstate moves include released-value protection as federal rules require, and fuller valuation options are offered when you book. The details for your specific move come with your quote confirmation.

Using this website

You are welcome to browse the site, request a quote, and contact us. In return, we ask that you use it in good faith. You agree not to:

  • Submit forms with false information or on someone else's behalf without their permission.
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to submit forms or harvest content from the site.
  • Attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it.
  • Use the site for anything unlawful.

We may block access to the site from sources that abuse it.

Our content

The text, images, logos, and design of this site belong to Keepsake Moving & Storage or are used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, republish, or use our content, including our name and branding, for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to websites we do not control, such as government license registries. Those links are provided for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content or practices of other sites, and a link is not an endorsement.

Website disclaimer

We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but the site is provided "as is." We cannot promise it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or complete, and general information on the site is not a substitute for the specific details of your move. Those are set out in your written quote.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keepsake Moving & Storage is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website itself: for example, losses caused by the site being temporarily unavailable or by an error in a page. This section is about the website only; it does not address the moving services we perform for you, and nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute about the website will be handled in the courts of New York. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
