Bronx movers for the next place you will call home

Step 1 of 4: Move

Step 1: Move

First, the move itself

Start with the pickup and destination.

Street address is best, but a neighborhood works.

Even just the borough is fine if you're not sure yet.

Moving in Bronx

Look at the whole home before the first box is packed

It is easy to remember the beds and miss everything tucked away in a storage room. A free video or in-person survey lets us walk through what is coming, including the spaces you use less often.

We can move a full house or apartment, a smaller load or a few pieces of furniture. If you are helping a family member move, explain who is involved and what has been decided so far. You can discuss the move without needing every answer first.

Keepsake serves the Bronx and the rest of New York City. A move into Manhattan or over to Queens can be planned with us too, as can a move to another state.

Packing and preparation

Make the final week a little less full

If packing is the part you would like to hand over, choose selected rooms or the whole home. We normally pack during the moving-day visit. Mention artwork, antiques or a piano while we review the contents so those pieces get their own discussion.

We coordinate directly with management on COI requirements when a building has them. If you need somewhere for belongings to wait between addresses, we can also arrange storage.

Questions about moving in Bronx

Do you move whole houses in the Bronx?

Yes. Show us all the areas included in a free video or in-person survey, including stored belongings and access outside the entrance.

Can you move just the furniture I cannot carry myself?

Yes. Furniture moving can cover selected pieces. Tell us what you are handling separately so the scope is clear.

Who arranges the COI for my building?

Keepsake coordinates directly with building management on the certificate of insurance. Send its contact and written requirements.

How is the moving price agreed?

We prepare a guaranteed flat quote from the contents, addresses, access and help you request. Duration does not change the price for that agreed move.

Can you help with packing too?

Yes. Packing can cover selected rooms or the whole home. It normally happens on moving day, with a separate first day only when a two-day move is booked.
